About the Royal Crescent Hotel Spa & Bath House

The Royal Crescent Hotel Spa is an original coach house and stables. Wood and stone lined spa with seven treatment rooms, including couples rooms. The main area includes a 12-metre indoor “relaxation” pool, vitality pool, sauna and steam room. This spa also has its own Mediterranean-styled walled garden and fitness area.

Local skincare products are used. Treatments include facials, spa rituals, massages, body scrubs, wraps, manicures and pedicures.

Hotel details

There are 45 bedrooms, half in the townhouses in the crescent and the other half in the buildings in the back of the garden. These rooms range from palatial suites with intricate ceilings and fireplaces in the first floor of the townhouses to elegant and cosy rooms in the upper floors of the townhouses (more affordable option). Some of the suites also offer private terraces if you want to enjoy the outdoors in summer months.

All bedrooms are individual and include antiques, period style prints, marble bathrooms with walk-in showers, robes and slippers. All rooms have 18th century decor, luxury bedding and flowers. There are tea trays available in every room where you can order with no extra charge and suites have Nespresso machines. The hotel offers a special touch by putting your name hand-written on a card on your door.

Food & drink

Enjoy a meal at the award-winning Dower House Restaurant, headed by chef David Campbell. At breakfast you can expect fresh orange juice, great coffee and an appetising buffet. You can also have a full afternoon tea, with both sweet and savoury variations. For dinner, there are elaborate dishes available, both in presentation and in their experimental nature (for example – chocolate and eucalyptus matchings). There is also a fantastic wine list available which has been put together by sommelier Jean-Marc Leitao.

The Montagu bar is open all day with cocktails and champagne. You can also have a traditional afternoon tea in the gardens.
